Essayne is designed as a learning support tool to assist students and writers. This service is not intended for academic dishonesty or plagiarism.

4. Subscription and Payments

Essayne offers both free and PRO subscription tiers:

Free Tier: Limited usage with word count restrictions and request limits per device.

PRO Subscription: Available as monthly ($7/month) or yearly ($49/year) plans. PRO subscriptions include:

• Unlimited requests and word count
• Full access to all features
• Request history and saved preferences
• Priority support

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your LemonSqueezy account or by visiting the Cancel Subscription page. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Free Tier Limitations

Free users are subject to usage limitations, including but not limited to word count limits per request and daily request limits. Output text may be partially blurred for free users. These limitations may be modified at any time at our discretion. Free tier limitations are enforced on a per-device basis.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of any text or content you submit to Essayne. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and use your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

Our Content: The Essayne service, including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Essayne and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. User Accounts

You may choose to create an account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

Essayne is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or usefulness of any AI-generated content. The service may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated output before use. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from your use of the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Essayne and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Essayne and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and data in accordance with our data retention policies.
